Part of Ministry of Sound, and once the club's booze vault, Ministry does Fitness is a slick and incredibly stylish purpose-built fitness studio just minutes from London Bridge. Beyond its functional decor, MdF is an incredibly warm and welcoming space. The staff make sure they are on first name terms with their customers, and work to ensure it is a truly inclusive and friendly environment. Here, the message is work hard, play hard: you can pick up a freshly made vegan protein smoothie just as easily as you can a glass of wine or a shot, and chill out and chat with your class mates at one of the studio's large communal tables.
On Tuesday 27 February, MdF partnered with HIITYOGA and Health Bloggers Community as part of HBC's #reclaimyourdayoff campaign. This campaign encourages us to take a conscious break from social media, and attendees took part in an hour-long stress-busting workout. HIITYOGA, created by founders Sasha Green and Kate O'Reilly is a unique combination of high-intensity training and soothing yoga that is truly relaxing for both mind and body.
Afterwards, there were yummy cookies from Fresh Fitness Foods, and our very own Laura was on hand to chat all things skincare. Everyone had a chance to try our full range of Pretty Athletic products, and was supplied with samples to continue the self-care experience at home.
